The Rapture - House Of Jealous Lovers (2003)
Remember when this was the coolest fucking band ever? I saw them live with Interpol, Mogwai, and The Cure, and they put on a fucking rad show. They had a dude wearing tons of tie dye that did nothing but played a cow bell and danced around on stage. This is the single from the LP that made them really cool, and then a year later they kind of just disappeared and I haven't heard a thing about them since. Apparently they're still around and plan on releasing their 4th album this year.

Uncle Tupelo - Anodyne (1993)
Uncle Tupelo was Jeff Tweedy's band before Wilco, and Jay Farrar's band before Son Volt, and this is their final album. This was also one of my favorite albums a few years ago. I saw Jeff Tweedy play a solo performance at folk fest in 2005 and he played a bunch of songs off this album and it was pretty rad. Really great country rock. Ripped from the Rhino Vinyl 180 gram vinyl reissue.

Gary U.S. Bonds - On The Line (1982)
The second Gary U.S. Bonds album produced by Bruce Springsteen and Steve Van Zandt and featuring The E Street Band as the back up band. 7 of the 11 tracks on this album are written by Bruce Springsteen, and it's often considered to be his follow up to The River, just with a different singer. It has a similar feel to The River both in sound and lyrical content, and includes a cover of Rendezvous, and a few other songs are recognizable from the recent The Promise: The Making of Born To Run movie.
Tracklist:
