I think it must have been about 2000 or 2001. JBK (which was a local all ages punk collective that promoted shows at the time) had a boxing day show with some of Calgary's best bands at the time including The Martyr Index, Chupacabra, and The Minks. There was also a "secret" band billed to play the show. This secret band was the third band to take the stage I think, and it turned out to be members of The Everymen, who were a popular punk rock band in Calgary who had disbanded about a year or two prior to this show, and they were performing this evening under the name Casey And The Sunshine Band, with a whole new sound. They played three songs that night, and this was one of them. Eventually they decided on the name The Failure, and put this song out on their first album, and then a couple years later changed their name to The Evidence. They've recorded this song for their new album, and made a music video for it, and it's rad.
order the new album
